I’ve been in the hospitality industry for most of my life, from ownership of a restaurant, waitressing, managing and finally owning my own wine boutique in Hermanus (Wine & Company), which I sold when we made a move to Dubai for a few years. Upon return from Dubai, I decided to go ahead and get my International Chef’s Diploma, which I completed in 2017 through City and Guilds, achieving graduate student of the year award.

Arriving back in Hermanus in 2018, I was very interested in opening up my own coffee shop – but just couldn’t find the right location. Hence the decision to ‘bring it home’. My little business started off with the Pizza Kits and then just quietly took on a life of its own. I’m busy building my portfolio and developing new recipes every week.
