I like to make the chillies shine in this recipe, so what you’re getting is mainly chillies, no onion, tomato or any other fruits or vegetables that will detract from the pureness of the chilli! I seldom make it medium, but then again, Africa is not for sissies (and neither is this sauce), yes, it’s hot, but it’s extremely tasty. If my twelve-year-old can handle it, then most others could too (in small doses), unless you’re like my friend, Dorothy, who just wants the hottest sh#t I can make! Food ideas: pizza
